You will need a flat screwdriver, Torx Set, and a new door handle to replace the broken interior door handle on your C-Class. All these items cost well under $60. Step 1. Open the driver’s door and locate the broken door handle.

Step 2. Use the flat screwdriver for popping out the cover from the door handle. Once you pry out the door handle cover, you should see the two screws. One at the top and one at the bottom of the door handle.

Step 3. Remove the two bolts that hold the broken door handle in place. These require that you use T-30 torx.

Step 4. Remove the door handle. This can be tricky, but it can be done with the door panel still in place. If you cannot remove the door handle, you may have to remove the door panel from the car to remove the broken door handle. Step 5. Install the new door handle. Press it in place and tighten the two T-30 screws. Install the cover on top of the door handle by pushing it in. The cover has no screws; it just snaps in place.
