The center of the mount is slightly shifted by design, as shown in this picture. You will need a new transmission mount. We don’t recommend installing a used transmission mount because it may look in good shape, but it doesn’t mean it is. The rubber will lose elasticity over the years, transmitting the vibration from the transmission to the chassis and the cabin.
