Mercedes-Benz CLA Fuses
Fuses for 2013-Present Mercedes Benz CLA All Models—Fuse Box Location and Fuse Designation chart.
If you replace any fuses, replace them with the same color fuse. If there is an underlying problem, you could overload the wires or even cause more severe problems to that circuit if you use a higher ampere fuse. Ensure the new fuse you are installing has the same color and ampere rating as the old one. If you install a new fuse at it blows shortly after you install it, you could have a short or a problem with that circuit, and you need to get it diagnosed. When you replace fuses, make sure your ignition is off.
Fuse boxes are located in two places in the CLA.
Fuses in Engine Compartment
- One of the fuse boxes is located under the hood. You will see the box once you open the hood. Look on the driver’s side.
- Fuses are also on the passenger side, where the passenger places their feet, aka passenger footwell. There should be a fuse allocation chart in there as well. First, remove the floormat on the passenger side to access this panel. Fold back the floor, covering bulling toward the back of the car. You should now see a box with a cover. On the right side, you will see a clamp that holds the cover in place. Press on the cover and pull the cover back.
You can get a lot of fusees for cheap on Amazon, like these ones here. Make sure to replace the fusees with the correct color and ampere rating.

What is the fuse for engine cooling ventilator? It keeps starting for no reason when the engine is stopped, and uses all the battery over one night 🙁
What fuse is used for the DRL?
I want to connect the illuminated star to it if possible
