In the meantime, there are a couple of aftermarket Android Auto alternatives:
- Replace the head unit with aSony XAV-AX100 6.4″ Car Play/Android Auto Media Receiver with Bluetooth.
- Pioneer Android Auto Head Unit

Will my phone work with Mercedes Android Auto?
Mercedes Android Auto works with Android 5.0 or higher, including Lollipop, Marshmallow, or Nougat.
The list of model years compatible with Android auto is not quite correct, check with your dealer for some 2015 and most 2016 models can be retro fitted with an upgrade that supports android auto. My 2016 CLA 45 needed a software update and and new USB interface.
